Starry Nights ~ Meditate

Sedona offers a Dark Sky City designation. What does that mean? A dark sky city attempts to regulate the amount of light-polution, keeping the sky clear for night viewing of the cosmos. Northern Arizona is long known for it's dry climate and higher elevations making it the perfect recipe for night sky viewing. Just north of Sedona is the know for the discovery of Pluto at the Lowel Observatory. Lowel, specifically chose Flagstaff, AZ based on meteorological conditions suitable for scientific observation. Sedona, just a bit lower in altitude, remains just as spectacular for the amateur observer. During warm months a blanket and the red rock are all you need to swim in stars and connect with the cosmic you. If you're interested in a more detail explanation a guided tour is a great way to introduce yourself to many more nights of meditation with the starry sky.
